Small Stones 8/19/16

Ten little fingers, ten little toes.

Ten little fingers, ten little toes. Wrapped in a soft, fleece blanket, his tiny face peers¬†out, eyes closed, fast asleep. Four weeks early, a mess of wires and monitors keep track of his vitals, strong and healthy. He feels weightless in my arms, and I can’t take my eyes off of him. He is perfect. Welcome to the world, Robbie.

Congratulations on the arrival of your beautiful son, Dustin and Chelsey!

*Every day, throughout the month of August, I will be participating in a fun writing experiment, known as Small Stones, for #AwakeAugust. To learn more, or for more examples of Small Stones, you can click here.
